MINUTES OF MEETING OF OAKAMOOR PARISH COUNCIL HELD ON 7TH. JUNE 2010

Resolved that the minutes of the meeting held on Monday, 17th. May 2010 be signed as a true and correct record.
10.40 HYDROELECTRIC POWER
Mr. N. Clarke was not present on this occasion to update Council of the latest developments.
10.41 MATTERS ARISING
A. Children’s Playground (Ref:10.31.A)
No further progress report.
B. Subsidence of Highway in Churnet View Road (Ref: 10.31.B)
Subsidence continues to occur and road is monitored.
C. Limekilns (Ref: 10.31.C)
Photographs of fence supplied by Cllr. Ellis and forwarded to Mr. Quigley, SCC, who was hopeful that a contribution could be made towards cost.
Sluice Gates: English Heritage investigating listing of same.
D. Duties of Lengthsman (Ref: 10.31.D)
Work undertaken although invoice had not been received.
E. Dog Fouling in Village (Ref: 10.31.E)
To remain on agenda.
F. Cotton College (Ref: 10.31.F)
No progress reported.
G. Traffic Speeding Through Village / Farley Road (Ref: 10.31.G)
Remains an on-going problem but traffic appears to be deterred from using Farley Road by virtue of signage.
H. Moneystone Quarry (Ref: 10.31.H)
Problems with potential buyers reported.
