The Old Hall in Timperley, located on the Altrincham golf course is now under new management. Dave & Sue Thompson have crossed the boarder from Yorkshire and moved in to The historic home. Already changes have been made with the introduction of table service, entertainment & live music events. Dave & Sue have decided that all proceeds raised from from the events between October & January 2011 will go to Francis House Children's Hospice. Dave is an ex Butlins redcoat and is the Brother of Peter Simon who hosted BBC childrens programs 'Run the risk, and Double dare and is now the main presenter on Bid TV. Sue has been in the catering & pub trade for over thirty years. Dave & Sue previously ran a busy village near Ilkley in Yorkshire. "The old hall is not only our place of work but our home too, and we look forward to making friends with the locals and becoming part of the community," Says Dave. "We have many plans and ideas for future events at the Old Hall. Coming soon we have an Elvis tribute night, Neil Diamond tribute night, Entertainer 'Stu Montana' and News years eve a Rock n Roll Charity night". Food is served every day between 12 noon and 9pm.
