The East Huntspill Garden Club  meets monthly, usually on a Thursday evening, in the Church Hall, East Huntspill.  We have a variety of speakers and activities.  We go on an outing once a year.  We also present the Annual Village Flower Show in the New Village Hall on the first Saturday in August.  We invite local businesses to advertise in the schedules of which 300  are distributed throuout the area.  We also invite businesses to sponsor classes in the show or donate to the raffle.  We have an annual 'potato in the bag' event in March of which exhibitors purchase a potato and 'grow it in a bag' to be weighed at the August Show!  The children from the local school are also encouraged to take part in the Show by entering the children's classes.  We also hold fund raising events (for the annual show)  like a 'cream tea' in June  or a BBQ  usually in a members garden.   more details from the secretary  Kay Bennett  01278 789678 or email kay.bennett5@btinternet.com
