OAKAMOOR PARISH COUNCIL MINUTES    63

MINUTES OF MEETING OF OAKAMOOR PARISH COUNCIL HELD ON 4TH. OCTOBER 2010

Present:  Cllr. Cresswell (Chairman)
Cllrs. Beard, Charles, Edwards, Ellis, Fallows. 


Apologies:  Cllr. Meadows, SMDC Cllr. Richardson.

Attending:  Two members of the public, Mr. N. Clark, Mr.J.W.Wood, Clerk.

10.79  DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

None.

10.80  MINUTES

Resolved that the minutes of the meeting held on Monday, 3rd. September 2010 be signed as a true and correct record.

10.81  MATTERS ARISING


 A.  Children’s Playground (Ref:10.71.A)
To remain on agenda.  SPFA thanked Council for invitation to attend a monthly meeting.

  B.  Subsidence of Highway in Churnet View Road (Ref: 10.71.B)
To be retained on minutes. Traffic volume recently monitored over 12 hour period by sub-contractors, acting on behalf of SCC.


  C.  Sluice Gates (Ref: 10.71.C)
 Forms for listing still held in safe custody. To be removed from minutes.


  D.  Duties of Lengthsman (Ref: 10.71.D)
No work undertaken during past month. 


  E.  Dog Fouling in Village (Ref: 10.71.E)
Continues to occur. To remain on agenda (See Item 10.85.E below). 
 
   F.  Cotton College (Ref:  10.71.F)
  No progress reported.

  G. Traffic Speeding Through Village / Farley Road  (Ref: 10.71.G)
Alton Towers requested to remind staff not to speed through village. No response received. On-going.

 
  H. Moneystone Quarry (Ref: 10.71.H)
  No further developments reported.

  I.  Road surface on School Drive (Ref:  10.71.I)
 Resurfacing still anticipated in October. Bush somewhat obscures view.  Understood that Local Member has inspected site.
 

  J.  Problems in Red Road (Ref: 10.71.J)
Bollards still missing. Understood to be in Alton parish. Notified.  Cllr. Fallows reported road as unsafe.
