Starting on Monday 9th May 2011, TinyTalk Baby signing will reach Wythall! Classes will be held 10am - 11am in the Wythall Institute for babies aged 0-2years. All are welcome.
Following successful taster sessions, run in conjunction with Cottonwood Children's Centre, at Wythall Library, Alvechurch Library and at the Thursday Wythall Baby group (run by Cottonwood), there was an obvious need and desire from parents/carers for such a class. "I'm really excited to be setting up a new class with such a lovely bunch of mums." said Julie Hetherington, one of the local TinyTalk teachers and who specifically covers B47 (also B48, B38 and B31). "I would really like to see as many people as possible bringing their little ones to my class as it offers a means of early communication with their child, as well as having lots of fun signing/singing/playing instruments and the chance for a cuppa, biscuit and a chat!"
Classes are also available in Alvechurch and Northfield for babies and in Kings Norton for Toddlers (2-4yrs)
