Local author Lord David Prosser started his writing carreer by accident. After a friend ased him to describe his day he did so in the form of a diary. This so appealed to the author/editor he was writing to she demanded more. In January 2011 his first book My Barsetshire Diary was published in the United States by Mediablvd. A second book followed in March which was a prequel to the first and is called The Queen's Envoy. Not satisfied with the ending of book 1 and the fate of the Dreaded Edna in her quest to become a Local Councillor David was pushed into a third book which came out in June and is called More Barsetshire Diary.  All of the books are a gentle look at the life of a small village and are through the eyes of a member of the local gentry. You can share his trials and tribulations as well as meeting Mellors the gardener with a past, Grizelda the housekeeper and the mysterious Eileen Dover as well as Oscar, the unwanted alarm cat who now has his own fans and blog at http://lorddavidspage.weebly.com  and you can see the books at http://barsetshirediaries.wordpress.com. They are available through amazon.co.uk.
