Queens Diamond Jubilee Sub-committee meeting

1              Ceremonial tree

                Type of ceremonial tree. Returns from voting papers sent out in August edition of the Normanton News Letter.

Voting papers returned 22 Horse-chestnut 13 Oak 6 Lime 1 Marple 1 Cherry 1 By popular request the Horse Chestnut has it. 2 Planting of the tree with memorial plaque Mr Nigel Cutts has agreed to “plant” the ceremonial tree. Note this will be at the South end of the village at the Junction of the A606 & the Old Melton Road. 3 Programme of items agreed. a) Saturday evening 2nd June 2012 The Musical evening will be arranged at Avenue Farm by Lorraine Cl
