Times gone by came aliveonce again to herald in the season of turkey and tinsel as members of the 121 (Nuneaton) Squadron manned one of the charity stalls atthe Atherstone Dickens Night.
Members of the CivilianCommittee, Cadets and staff manned one of the large number of stalls in the Atherstone Market Squareas an estimated 10,000 revellers piled into the streets to enjoy the massive North Warwickshire event.
The Squadrons CivilianCommittee ran a Tombola and Lucky Dip which raised £303.50, whilst members ofstaff and cadets were on hand to tell potential recruits and their parents allabout life in the Air Cadets.
All the stalls and streetentertainment of the Dickens Night set a perfect prelude to the towns Christmaslights switch on. The evening's entertainment ended with a grand musicalfirework finale which lit up the night sky to herald the start of the Christmasseason.
