A store in Wareham is offering a greener way of disposing of your Christmas Cards this year. Sainsbury's Wareham will be providing a recycling point at the front of the store to deposit the cards in. It is part of a drive to encourage people not to throw their old cards in the bin.

Store Manager Damian Fancy said: "As part of our corporate commitment to respect the environment we are pleased to be able to offer our customers an environmentally friendly option for the disposal of old Christmas Cards. We know that our customers are environmentally conscious and we hope that by offering this service, we will be able to make it easier for them to recycle their old cards." The service will be available until the 10th of January. All proceeds will be donated to the Forest Stewardship Council.
