As Valentine’s Day approaches, Sainsbury’s Wareham is offering customers the chance to display a message for a loved one. A small charge is being made with the proceeds being donated to Heroes Haven Swanage. Customers can write their messages on love hearts which will be displayed in the window at the front of the store.
Store Manager Damian Fancy said: “We wanted to give our customers the opportunity to leave a message while raising money for a very worthy cause, our local charity of the year, Heroes Haven Swanage. The message can be for a loved one, someone no longer with us, or maybe even someone you secretly fancy!”
The event is part of a series on ongoing fundraising events happening at Sainsbury’s Wareham to raise funds for Heroes Haven Swanage. The charity was set up to create a holiday home in Swanage that is suitable for service personnel injured in combat.
